For legal teams
When a client has experienced coercive control, the barriers to telling their story clearly are not about memory or willingness. They are about nervous system regulation. I work on that — so you can work on the law.
Book a 20-minute discovery callAhluwalia v. Ahluwalia, 2026 SCC 16
The Supreme Court of Canada has established a new tort of intimate partner violence grounded in patterns of coercive control — not isolated incidents.
Women and men who have experienced intimate partner abuse and coercive control must articulate that pattern with clarity and composure under examination.
That capacity is exactly what this work builds.
Supporting a trauma-affected client through the emotional and psychological dimensions of their experience is not your role. And it shouldn't have to be.
They can describe what happened in your office, but freeze or flood when trying to articulate the pattern in a formal setting.
They minimise, contradict themselves, or shut down — not because their experience isn't real, but because their nervous system is managing a threat.
You know the story is there. Getting it out in a way that is coherent, credible, and legally useful is another matter entirely.
You are a skilled lawyer. The emotional and psychological preparation your client needs is not your expertise — that's where I come in.
Through a structured, intensive process grounded in NLP, EFT Tapping, clinical hypnosis, and subliminal messaging, I help your client build the nervous system regulation they need to access their experience — and articulate it with composure, affect, and credibility.
They stay fully in command of their own story. I work on their capacity to tell it.
I do not give legal advice, script testimony, or advise on what your client should say. I work exclusively on their capacity to access and articulate their own experience — regulated, present, and clear.

"In one session, Yvonne helped me see the parts of me that were at war with each other — the one gripping for control, the one afraid, the one who already knew it was okay. She didn't try to fix them or make me choose one. She helped me name them and bring them together, so I could see that each one served a purpose. I didn't need to be a certain part. I could be all of them. I left lighter, and clear."
— Sana F.
"The impact it had on me was very positive and uplifting — the rest of my day was filled with positivity. This session will follow me through every day now, as I know my values that are important to me and how my brain thinks as well. I feel more confident about myself, which I can bring to my committee meetings or meetings in my community."
— Margaret Lamers
Every Phase 1 engagement closes with a written Lawyer Briefing Note delivered to retained counsel. It is a practice-support document prepared for your internal use — not an expert report, affidavit, or court filing.
The Briefing Note is reviewed and approved by your client before it is shared with you.
The Briefing Note is prepared with the client's informed written consent and shared exclusively with retained counsel. It is not filed in any proceeding without a separate written agreement.
